Dr. Kendal Lin

Dr. Kendal Lin earned a bachelors in Chemistry from the University of Virginia and began her career at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases within the National Institutes of Health. In pursuit of her keen interest in medicine and science, she investigated mutations in a variety of hereditary immunologic diseases as a Research Fellow.

Dr. Lin went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Medicine as a Dean’s Merit Scholar from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. During her time in dental school, she underwent additional training in the areas of anesthesia and special needs dentistry. Later, Dr. Lin completed her Periodontology Residency Program and an advanced degree in Periodontology and a Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

In line with her passion for helping others, Dr. Lin organized and led a mission trip to rural Honduras to provide various dental treatments to thousands of patients in need without access to quality care. Dr. Lin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, as well as an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Massachusetts Dental Society, and International Team of Implantology. She has garnered several awards in recognition of her clinical acumen and academic achievements, and has been published in several medical and scientific journals. Dr. Lin brings her knowledge, passion, and expertise to Boston Dental’s Downtown location.
