Dr. Mariam Khan

A native of Mumbai, Dr. Mariam Khan earned her degree in Periodontics at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and completed a fellowship in periodontics and restorative dentistry. She then went on to obtain a Master of Dental Surgery in Oral Biology before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental.

Dr. Khan is an expert in preventing, diagnosing and treating gum and bone disease, offering both surgical and non-surgical solutions to periodontal issues. She is also trained in LANAP and LAPIP protocols, adding to her capabilities and patient offerings. Dr. Khan also translates her knowledge and passion for periodontics as an educator, formerly at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental and currently at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Khan is Board-Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery, and an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Board of Periodontology, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She cherishes the opportunity to build meaningful connections with patients as she guides them through the journey of achieving optimal oral health. Dr. Khan offers her expertise to patients at Boston Dental’s Seaport location.
